What does the defined terms checker look for?

Terms defined but never used, terms defined more than once, defined terms that also appear in lower case, capitalised words used like defined terms but never defined, and clause or schedule references that do not match any heading in the document.

Does it work on any contract?

It works best on contracts that define terms in quotation marks (for example "Services" means… or (the "Customer")) and number their clauses at the start of each line. Unusual formats may produce false positives, so treat results as a checklist.
